Terms of Service
Last updated: April 28, 2026
By using Letterfork (the website, the rewrite tool, the email system) you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — if anything's unclear, email hi@letterfork.com and we'll explain it in plain language.
Who can use Letterfork
You need to be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission. You agree to give us accurate signup information and to keep your password (or your Google account) secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
What Letterfork does
Letterfork takes a newsletter you've written (URL or pasted text) and rewrites it for seven social platforms in your voice. It does this by sending the newsletter through language models with your extracted voice profile and platform-specific instructions. The quality of the output depends on the source material, the voice profile you've trained, and the model itself — we don't guarantee any particular result.
Subscriptions and billing
- Free tier: 3 rewrites total per account, no payment required.
- Paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Unlimited) renew automatically each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
- Cancellation is self-serve via the Stripe Customer Portal at any time. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the current billing period; we don't charge you again after that.
- No refunds. Already-paid subscription fees are not refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access for the rest of the cycle but we don't issue a partial refund. (Local consumer protection law may give you specific rights — those override this paragraph.)
- Prices and features may change. If a paid tier's price goes up, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal.
Your content
You own the newsletters you submit and the rewritten outputs. You give Letterfork a limited license to process them solely to provide the service — generating rewrites, displaying them in your dashboard, and storing them on your account. We don't claim ownership and we don't train AI models on your content.
By submitting a newsletter, you confirm that you have the right to do so — either you wrote it, or the actual author has authorized you to use Letterfork on it.
What you can't do
- Submit content you don't have rights to, including copyrighted newsletters that aren't yours.
- Try to extract or scrape Letterfork's prompts, voice profile data, or platform rules.
- Run automated scripts that generate rewrites at machine speed — Letterfork is built for human pacing, and we may suspend accounts whose usage pattern looks scripted.
- Use Letterfork to produce content that's illegal in your jurisdiction (defamation, harassment, deceptive impersonation).
- Resell Letterfork-generated content as a managed service to third parties without a separate agreement with us.
Service availability
Letterfork is offered on a best-effort basis. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uptime, error-free output, or uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and provider outages (Anthropic, Stripe, Vercel, etc.) can cause temporary disruptions.
Termination
You can stop using Letterfork at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms — we'll email you the reason and, where appropriate, give you a chance to fix the issue first. On termination, your data is removed per the deletion timeline in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Letterfork is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind — including, to the maximum extent allowed by law, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or platform-specific issues; you're responsible for reviewing what you publish.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Letterfork's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost engagement, missed posting windows).
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we'll email registered users before the change takes effect. Continued use of Letterfork after the effective date counts as acceptance of the new terms.
